Health Senior Mobile Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to build a cutting-edge health diagnostics platform and a mobile application and implement and maintain mission critical cloud-based applications and services. You will leverage advanced JavaScript knowledge and visualization skills to build scalable and performant mobile and web applications.

Summary of Job Functions

Shape the User Experience

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into elegant, intuitive, and responsive web and mobile experiences
  • Stay at the forefront of front-end technology trends, proactively evaluating new tools and methods, and recommending strategic advancements that boost productivity and user engagement

Build and Optimize

  • Design, build, debug, and optimize high-quality front-end solutions, ensuring exceptional performance
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain applications on web servers and across iOS and Android App Stores, ensuring reliability and seamless user interactions

Champion Quality and Standards

  • Lead the establishment of best practices, coding standards, and reusable components that streamline development and foster consistency across teams

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience building compelling, user-centric native mobile applications that delight and engage
  • Deep proficiency with React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, enterprise architecture, and foundational software engineering principles
  • Extensive experience developing and integrating APIs, with a deep understanding of HTTP(S) and REST architectures, server-initiated communication, and real-time data handling
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and optimizing performance across multiple browsers and platforms
  • Strong knowledge of secure application development practices, vulnerabilities mitigation, and building and experience in developing secure mobile and web applications, and knowledge of application vulnerabilities
  • Proven experience crafting exceptional UX/UI experiences for high-volume mobile and web applications backed by data-driven insights, user testing, and A/B experimentation

Preferred Skills and Previous Experience

  • Familiarity with technologies like WebAssembly
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Ability to use SQL effectively for deep data insights and system troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Node.js and Python
