Summary of Job Functions

Innovate and Develop

  • Assist in the development and deployment of cloud-based applications, contributing to scalable and user-friendly solutions
  • Collaborate on backend system design to support mobile and web applications
  • Write clean, maintainable code that supports health-focused features and data processing

Collaborate Across Disciplines

  • Work with data scientists, product managers, and designers to translate complex health data into user-friendly features
  • Participate in creating technical documentation and diagrams to support internal understanding and communication
  • Help monitor application performance and contribute to improvements in efficiency and stability
  • Write tests and debug applications to ensure high-quality releases

Ensure Quality and Compliance

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent practical experience with core computer science concepts
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, C#)
  • Exposure to cloud services (Azure and/or AWS) and interest in developing cloud-native applications
  • Familiarity with SQL and working with databases
  • Experience building APIs (e.g., REST, gRPC)
  • Basic understanding of microservices and software architecture principles
  • Ability to work on-site in our Jupiter, FL office

Preferred Skills and Previous Experience

  • Previous experience working in healthcare or wellness-related software
  • Understanding of data privacy and security practices (HIPAA experience is a plus)
  • Experience with SQL Server and/or modern analytics databases like ClickHouse
  • Exposure to event-driven systems or cloud-based streaming tools (e.g., Azure Functions, Kafka)
  • Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Github, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
