As a Scientific Content Writer Intern, you will work closely with research leadership to create knowledge documents that formally summarize and contextualize Voloridge Health’s internal research findings. Knowledge documents are scientific in nature and are intended primarily for internal use, serving as a durable record of findings and their relevance within the broader scientific literature. This work requires careful literature review, scientific reasoning, and precise written communication.
Summary of Job Functions
- Research and write scientific knowledge documents summarizing major internal research findings documented in Confluence
- Conduct thorough literature reviews to contextualize internal findings within current peer-reviewed scientific research
- Clearly document the research methods, data, assumptions, and conclusions underlying each finding
- Research and write educational scientific documentation on biomarkers used in Voloridge Health’s models, including: What each biomarker represents biologically, how biomarkers are interpreted within the models
- Factors known to influence biomarker levels
- Collaborate with researchers and technical stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy and clarity
- Assist in refining select knowledge documents for external scientific or educational use, such as executive research summaries or contributions to scientific publications
- Edit and proofread all materials to ensure consistency, clarity, and scientific rigor
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Public Health, Neuroscience, Statistics, English (with scientific writing experience), or a related field
- Strong scientific writing, editing, and research skills
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific concepts and data into clear written explanations
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple long-form writing projects simultaneously
- Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, Florida office
