Trading Software Engineer

As a Trading Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications that sit on the critical trading path. You will implement high-performance programming techniques to continually improve our platform’s capabilities and performance with a team that is highly talented, productive, and efficient.

Summary of Job Functions

  • Participate in all phases of the order and execution management system development life cycle
  • Architect low latency and multi-threaded solutions with an emphasis on highly performant code
  • Learn about trading and research needs for multi-asset trading, including global equities, futures, and other asset classes
  • Develop tools to automate our daily trading processes
  • Take ownership of the continual drive for automation

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Advanced hands-on experience with C#, Python, and SQL
  • Strong mathematical skills including statistics
  • Aptitude for numerical data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Proven ability to analyze and fix issues in a timely manner
  • The ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, FL office

Preferred skills and previous experience

  • Experience designing and developing distributed systems
  • Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs or microservices
  • Knowledge of containerization platforms is a plus (Docker, Kubernetes, Argo)
  • Experience with frontend technologies like TypeScript, CSS, and React Knowledge of/interest in electronic trading concepts and electronic trading infrastructure
  • Willingness to learn whatever technologies, tools, or patterns necessary to solve a problem and exercise ownership of trading processes
