We are seeking a motivated Quant Trading Intern to join our team. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to systematic trading by assisting with daily trading operations, market research, portfolio analysis, and process improvement projects. You’ll work closely with experienced traders as well as operations, technology, and research teams to see how ideas move from analysis to execution in real markets. Our automated quantitative systems are deeply dependent on vast quantities of data and a proprietary trading platform. This internship is designed to give you meaningful, real-world experience in quantitative trading within a supportive, fast-paced environment.Summary of Job Functions
- Assist the Trading team with daily operations and pre/post-trade analysis
- Support the development of applications, data pipelines, and reporting tools
- Contribute to projects on markets and trading processes; present findings to the team
- Learn how Trading collaborates with Operations, Technology, and Research
- Completion of at least two years of an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Engineering)
- Experience using Python for data analysis
- Familiarity with SQL and Excel
- High attention to detail and interest in financial markets
- Strong communication and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
- Ability to work onsite daily in our Jupiter, Florida office (not a remote role)
- Experience with APIs
- Exposure to transaction cost analysis (TCA) and market data
Minimum Requirements
- Completion of at least two years of an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Engineering)
- Experience using Python for data analysis
- Familiarity with SQL and Excel
